Hivemapper is a mapping project that seeks to supplant Google Maps and Google Streetview by using people who already drive all around the globe to provide fresh map data daily which will keep the map updated.
This works by utilizing people who already drive during the day. Drivers install 1 or 2 Hivemapper dash cameras, either on their dashboard, vehicle roof, or right side rear window. The cameras provide map data between sun-up and sundown. Your smartphone downloads the camera data from the Hivemapper Dashcam using the Hivemapper app and the cameras built in wifi. Your smartphone then uploads the data using the Hivemapper app either through cellular data or wifi. That's it. You drive during the day, the camera collects the data, and the app takes it out of the camera and sends it to the Hivemapper foundation. You're paid every Thursday in $Honey to your crypto wallet. You can buy your own camera or cameras through Hivemapper.com and there are now only two different versions of the same camera, The Bee, available for preorder. All previous models have been discontinued. The Bee offers the standard WIFI and also an optional LTE connection so that mapping can be done and uploaded without a cell phone present.

Another way for you to start mapping now, with no upfront costs to you, is to sign up to drive for me and my LLC (Get Out of My Way! LLC). We will have an equipment agreement contract between us.
